My name is Alexi and I can speak three languages: French, Spanish and Chinese! I also love music and when I'm bored I try to learn a new instrument. I play guitar, piano, tin whistle and didgeridoo already, I'm thinking of trying the ukulele next!

Eureka!
I think I’ve figured out how to defeat the Bad Hatter! The trick to figuring out a solution was to look at our situation like a puzzle. What pieces do we have? How would they fit together to make a big picture? Do we start with the edges or just try to match colors? Wait, not that last one. That one only works on jigsaw puzzles.
I’d tell you all about our solution, but he’s probably reading these blogs to see what we’re up to. It’ll take some time to create the tech we need while using these old machines, but everything should be ready soon enough!

Beach Weather!
Sunshine! Sand! Salt Water! Sudoku! I LOVE THE BEACH! All I need is my ridiculous big, floppy hat and some sunscreen and I’m ready to go! Oh. Maybe a towel. And a swimsuit. Some sunglasses. Oh! And a comfy pair of flip flops. And a cooler full of goodies. And an umbrella, too. Should I bring my mp3 player, too?
Ugh, why do I always feel like I should rent a moving van whenever I go to the beach? Nothing like carting half your stuff to the ocean to get away from it all…
Maybe I’ll just bring a towel and some sunscreen. That way I can enjoy the beach for what it is – a quiet place to RELAX! I hope the water’s not too cold…

Mystery Message!
Alan asked me to help him decode a message from space today! Imagine that! I could be the first person EVER to speak with an extraterrestrial! Well, to understand an extraterrestrial, anyway. It’s hard to tell what Zwert is saying – I think he might be a baby…whatever he is.
I hope I can help Alan out! I mean, we couldn’t even understand ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics until 1802, and that was an Earth language! How will I ever figure out what a different civilization is trying to say? It’s a good thing I love a hard puzzle!

Viva Mexico!
What a great Spring Break! My family and I went to see the Mayan and Aztec ruins in Mexico. It was so cool! I got to climb to the top of one of the pyramids and everything! Our tour guide said that if you were to look at the pyramids during the summer solstice, the shadow of the stairs looks like a snake climbing to the top! How cool is that?
I could totally see myself becoming an archaeologist. What a cool job that would be! Just think about it – exploring hidden temples, discovering long-lost secrets, solving ancient mysteries, disarming traps, fighting evil skeleton warriors…okay, maybe the last two wouldn’t happen. Still, the rest of it sounds pretty amazing!

Whew!
I finally got some time to relax, and what do I do? I finish four Sudoku books in one night! I don’t know if that’s what most people would call relaxing, but it works for me! I’m really impressed with Jenny and Frankie – they’ve both really mastered the art of safe blogging!
It’s been snowing a lot lately, and I’m getting a little stir crazy. I mean, I’m not really the outdoorsy type, but a little sun and fresh air wouldn’t hurt! Maybe I’ll see if Carlo wants to build a snowman later on. At least that’ll get me outside for a while!

Help!
So busy! Between my class schedule, the extra projects Commander Omni and I are working on, and helping Jenny and Frankie with their blogs, I barely have time to breathe! I didn't think it was even possible to be this busy this early in the semester.
I guess I should be thankful that so many people need me or want my help. It's just hard to appreciate that when all those people need your help at the same time.
That's enough blogging! I promised Frankie that I'd go over the safe blogging tips with him one more time before his first entry!

Done!
Finals are over and I am going home soon! I was really worried about my Advanced Virus Detection class, but I totally aced the test! Wow, does that feel good. Now I can go home and spend time with my friends without worrying about grades!
I wonder what Scout is doing for the holidays? Maybe Dr. Keen takes him with her. Maybe he just hangs around campus until we all come back. Either way, I hope he has a great winter break!
