Pass the Tissues...
Spring has sprung…and so have my allergies! I didn’t even know I was allergic to anything. Last year I was fine, so what changed? Ugh. I’m sneezing, my throat hurts, and I’ve got a constant headache. And I’m whining! I never whine! Poor Alan’s been trying to make me feel better, but there’s not much he can do.
I just did an Internet search for information on allergies. Apparently, they can come and go throughout your life! I always thought you either had them or you didn’t. I wish I didn’t. This takes all the fun out of gardening. I’m going to take a shower to get all the pollen out of my hair. I hope that helps.

Cinco de Mayo
May 5 was a ton of fun! Dana, Jax, and I threw together a quick Cinco de Mayo party. Everyone thinks Cinco de Mayo is Mexico’s Independence Day, but it isn’t. Originally, the holiday was celebrated in Puebla, Mexico to commemorate a victory against the French army. If you’re looking to celebrate Mexico’s Independence Day, you’ll have to wait until September 16th.
Anyway, back to the party. I had no idea Jax was so crafty! She hand-made a piñata in the shape of a Trojan Horse. Unfortunately, we let Captain Wits fill it…
I’ll let Jax tell you about that.
