Wrapping Help!

Dana's been telling me for months how much she wants an Elephant's Foot plant for her room. So I got her one, but without looking at it first. Imagine my surprise when it came in all.creepy and covered in spines! I really wish I had thought this through, because now I have to figure out how to wrap it!

What do you guys think? Should I just stick a bow to one of its thorns and call it a day? I know she'll love it, but half the fun of getting a present is tearing into the paper! I think I'll go ask Captain Wits if he has any gift bags at his store.

Zwert Alert

Zwert's been acting weird lately. And I'm talking weird for an alien, so you know it's pretty bad. For example, he usually spends most of the day curled up on a beanbag with his bowl of Alien Chow. Lately, though, he's been lying in front of the window with this sad look on his face.

Maybe the holidays are getting him down. Do you think he misses his family? Maybe I'll ask him when I go back to my room. Poor little guy.
