UUUUUGGGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!

OH NO! Someone put some nasty green beef jerky into the composter and now the entire cafeteria smells like.well, like rotting meat! I'm sure they didn't do it on purpose, but still! Yuck!

Even though meat comes from natural sources (i.e. animals), it decomposes differently than vegetables because of its protein content. Some vegetable products like peanut butter and tofu can't be composted for the same reasons. Gross. I guess I should have posted a list of acceptable compost materials above the bins. What should I do with that batch of compost? I'm not sure whether to throw it out or bury it somewhere.

What a Blast!

The carnival was great! It was really fun to get out into the crowd under all those blinking lights. I even won twice at the ring toss game! Alan tried a bunch of times but he couldn't get the arch just right. It was cute to see how hard he was trying just to impress me. It's ok, Alan, I know if it were a video game you would have won!

On a different topic, I just want to say thank you to everyone who pitched in and helped me plant the garden. It was a lot of work, but just think of how amazing it'll be when you eat a salad made with the vegetables that you helped grow! Anyway, thank you again for all your help!
